Easy Homemade Tartar Sauce Recipe

Homemade tartar sauce is way better than store-bought. It's easy and quick to make and lasts for weeks in the fridge.

Ingredients
 
 

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp sweet green relish
  • 1 tbsp yellow onion
  • tsp salt
  • Pinch ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Wash and finely dice the red pepper.
    1 tbsp red bell pepper
  • Peel and finely dice the onion
    1 tbsp yellow onion
  • Juice a lemon.
    1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, mason jar, or measuring cup and serve as a dip or spread.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp red bell pepper, 2 tbsp sweet green relish, 1 tbsp yellow onion, 1/8 tsp salt, Pinch ground black pepper
