The Best Chipotle Mayo Recipe

This chipotle mayo recipe is one of our favourites. We eat it with and on everything, it’s just THAT good.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp chipotle puree Note 2

Instructions
 

  • Start by juicing half a lemon.
    2 tsp lemon juice
  • Next, combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tsp lemon juice, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp chipotle puree
  • Taste the dip and determine if more spice is desired. If so, add more chipotle puree one teaspoon at a time.
  • Serve as a dip or condiment.

Notes

Note 1: This recipe yields about 10 tablespoons therefore one tablespoon is 78 calories. 
Note 2: This recipe is mild. If you prefer the dip spicy, add more chipotle puree, 1 tsp at a time until you reach your desired spice level. I usually make it with 3 teaspoons.
